Along with his dismissal without scoring a run, he created an unwanted record in Indian Premier League.

The top guy on this list is Parthiv Patel, who accounts for 11 ducks while batting as an opener. Overall, Patel faced 13 ducks in Indian Premier League during his career. Gautam Gambhir accounts for a total of 12 ducks in his IPL career while Ajinkya Rahane has 13. Dhawan has always played as an opener in IPL and faced a total of 11 ducks now.

Talking about DC vs PBKS clash, DC slammed 213-2 in 1st innings after being asked to bowl first. David Warner hit 46 runs off 31 balls while Prithvi Shaw smacked 54 off 38, after making a comeback to the playing XI.

Rossouw, batting at no.3, grabbed all the limelight with his impeccable knock of unbeaten 82 runs off 37 balls. Philip Salt also support well thoroughly, hitting an unbeaten 26 off 14 deliveries. Sam Curran was the only PBKS bowler to grab 2 scalps.

After losing Shikhar Dhawan for a golden duck during the chase, DC witnessed Prabhsimran Singh hitting 22 runs before getting out. Later, Atharva Taide slammed 55 off 42 but retired out. Liam Livingstone was the star of team’s chase as he shattered a stupendous knock of 98 runs off 48 balls.

However, PBKS went too slow at the start and no batter could support Livingstone on the other end in the middle. Despite Livingstone’s fabulous knock that saw 9 sixes, PBKS reached 198-8 till the final ball and lost by 15 runs.
