Batting at no.4 in SRH vs RCB encounter, Heinrich Klaasen scored 104 runs off 51 balls. He stormed 6 massive sixes and 8 boundaries during his innings, batting at a stunning strike rate of 203+. He also helped the team to reach a good total of 186-5 in 20 overs.

Although Klaasen helped his team to reach a decent total on the board, he could not lead his team to victory. In response, RCB opener Virat Kohli shattered a marvellous century during the chase. With 100 runs by Kohli and 71 by Faf du Plessis, RCB set up an opening stand of 172 runs.

In the end, RCB grabbed a victory by 8 wickets, reaching the target quite comfortably in the final over. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natarajan managed to get 1 wicket each. After the match, RCB moved to the 4th spot in IPL 2023 points table while SRH dropped to the last position.
