Harbhajan Singh described Rinku Singh as the X-factor for the Kolkata Knight Riders this season, pointing out that Andre Russell’s era is gone in the cash-rich league.

Rinku Singh has been in brilliant form in the IPL 2023, scoring 407 runs with an impressive average of 50.88 and a strike rate of 143.30. The left-handed batter is the leading run-getter for his franchise in the tournament. The southpaw came into the limelight after smashing five sixes in the last over against the Gujarat Titans (GT).

Speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, Harbhajan Singh said Rinku Singh will get a chance to represent Team India soon following his performances in pressure situations.

“Now Rinku has become the X-factor for KKR, not Russell. Russell’s era is gone. It’s Rinku’s time now,” Harbhajan Singh told Star Sports.
