KKR vs LSG: “I Always Played Cricket How I Wanted To Play Cricket And I Have Taken The Captaincy The Same Way As Well”- Krunal Pandya
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are all set to take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on 20th May (*Saturday) at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. LSG skipper Krunal Pandya has done quite a decent job after the injury to KL Rahul. We witnessed against MI how Krunal Pandya stood behind his bowlers in the crunch moments of the match.
KKR still have a chance of making it to the playoffs who are placed in 7th position on the points table with 12 points from 13 matches. KKR have to register a thumping victory against LSG to give themselves a chance as their NRR is -0.25.

The track at Eden Gardens, Kolkata would most likely be a rank turner and both sides have got quality spinners present. LSG perhaps might bring back the veteran spinner Amit Mishra into the playing 11 in this crunch clash. LSG are placed in 3rd position on the points table with 15 points from 13 matches and a win would assure them a spot in playoffs.

KKR would back themselves to beat LSG after defeating the dangerous CSK at Chepauk. Skipper Nitish Rana would be aware of the fact that they can’t take LSG lightly who have chased mammoth totals from any position.

“If I am myself, and if I do it my way then the chances of doing well for the team is high. I have played cricket hard and in a certain way, and the same thing I apply while captaining the team as well. By just observing you learn a lot of things, I have learnt a lot of things, from MS as well. I want to take good things from everyone but I want to be myself, that’s the way I can get the best out of myself,” he added.
