In their last match of match of the league stage in IPL 2023, Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are set to collide with each other. PBKS vs RR, match 66 of IPL 2023, will be played on May 19 (Friday).

The venue of the encounter is HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala. While PBKS is led by Shikhar Dhawan in IPL 2023, Sanju Samson is the captain of RR. Both teams have played 13 games so far.

This is not the first time that both PBKS and RR are facing each other in IPL 2023. Both of them clashed during match 8 of the tournament earlier. In that game, Punjab Kings won by 5 runs in a close-fought encounter.

Batting first, Prabhsimran Singh (60) and Shikhar Dhawan (86*) provided a stunning start to the team as openers. Jitesh Sharma also added 27 runs towards the end to take the scoreboard to 197-4 in 20 overs.

During the chase, RR lost the top three wickets cheaply. Later, Sanju Samson slammed a marvellous knock of 42 runs. Shimron Hetmyer also scored 36 while Dhruv Jurel hit an unbeaten 32 off 15. However, RR remained short of 6 runs for victory, reaching 182-7 till the final ball.
